Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Your Narrative Edge LLC ("Your Narrative Edge," "YNE," "we," "us," or "our"). They cover your use of yournarrativeedge.com and any services we provide to you. If you have a signed proposal, statement of work, or service agreement with us, that document controls where it conflicts with these Terms.

By using this website or our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our services

Your Narrative Edge LLC provides brand storytelling, content creation, video production, digital marketing, advertising management, funnel and website design, marketing automation, call center, consulting, and related services. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and price for any engagement are set out in the proposal or agreement for that engagement.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use our services. If you are agreeing to these Terms on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Give us accurate and complete information
  • Use the website and our services only for lawful purposes
  • Not copy, resell, or redistribute any part of our services or materials without our written permission
  • Hold the rights to any content, logos, images, or data you give us to use in your work, and to any contact lists you ask us to message

4. Payment

Fees are due as stated on your invoice or agreement. Late payments may be charged interest of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate allowed by law, whichever is lower. We may pause work on an account that is past due. Advertising spend paid to third-party platforms is billed by those platforms and is separate from our fees unless your agreement says otherwise.

5. Intellectual property

We own all content, materials, and work product we create until you have paid for it in full. Once you have paid in full, you receive the license or ownership described in your agreement for the work created specifically for you. We keep ownership of our pre-existing materials, templates, tools, and methods, and we may show completed work in our portfolio unless your agreement says otherwise.

6. Confidentiality

Each party will keep the other's non-public business information confidential and use it only to perform the engagement. This does not apply to information that is public, already known to the receiving party, or required to be disclosed by law.

7. Cancellation and termination

Either party may cancel an ongoing engagement with 90 days' written notice, unless your agreement sets a different notice period. Fees for work performed through the end of the notice period remain due. Refunds, where available, are handled under our Fulfillment and Refund Policy.

8. Text messaging

If you opt in to receive text messages from us, our SMS Terms apply. In short: there are separate opt-ins for non-marketing and marketing messages, message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, you can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

9. Disclaimer

The website and our services are provided "as is" and "as available." Marketing results depend on many factors outside our control, including market conditions, your offer, and third-party platforms. We do not guarantee any specific result, ranking, lead volume, or revenue.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Your Narrative Edge LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of the website or our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the services giving rise to the claim in the three months before the claim arose.

11. Third-party platforms

Our work often runs on third-party platforms such as advertising networks, social media sites, CRMs, and hosting providers. We are not responsible for their outages, policy changes, account decisions, or fees.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continuing to use the website or our services after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
