Your Narrative Edge LLC ("Your Narrative Edge," "YNE," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to yournarrativeedge.com, the forms on it, and the text messages, emails, and calls we send or make as a result.

By using this website or submitting a form on it, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, start a chat, book a call, subscribe, or contact us, we collect what you provide. That usually means your first and last name, email address, mobile phone number, business name, and anything you write in a message field.

Text message consent records. When you check a text message consent box, we record which box you checked, the exact consent wording shown to you, the date and time, your IP address, and the page you were on. We keep this record to prove your consent and to honor your opt-out.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, and the site that referred you. We use this to keep the site secure and working.

Information we handle for our clients. Some of our divisions, including our call center, contact people on behalf of our clients. When we do that, we process the information under that client's instructions, and the client's own privacy policy governs how it is used.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and follow up on the request you made
  • Schedule, confirm, and remind you about appointments and calls
  • Provide, manage, and bill for the services you hire us for
  • Send you marketing messages, but only where you have given us permission to do so
  • Keep records of consent and opt-out requests
  • Protect the website and our business from fraud, spam, and abuse
  • Comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Service

4. Text messaging (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and check a text message consent box, either on a form or in the chat window on this website, we may send you text messages. Where a form offers two separate boxes, you can check either, both, or neither. Checking a box is never required to submit a form, start a chat, or buy anything from us.

  • Non-marketing messages cover replies to your inquiry and appointment scheduling, including confirmations and reminders.
  • Marketing messages cover special offers, discounts, events, and service updates.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Full details are in our SMS Terms.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as far as they need it to do that work. These include:

  • Our CRM and communications platform (GoHighLevel, also known as LeadConnector), which stores contact records and sends our text messages and emails
  • Our website hosting and database providers
  • Our scheduling tools
  • Payment processors, for clients who pay us

These providers are required to keep your information confidential and to use it only to provide their services to us.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business. The text messaging commitments in Section 4 still apply in each of those cases.

6. Cookies and third-party content

This website uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies set by our hosting provider for security and to deliver the site. We load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads. Some pages include an embedded YouTube video, and YouTube may set its own cookies when that video loads or plays. We do not currently run advertising pixels on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

7. How long we keep information

We keep contact and inquiry information for as long as we have an active or potential business relationship with you, and then for as long as we reasonably need it for legal, accounting, or dispute purposes. We keep text message consent and opt-out records for at least four years, because that is how long we may need to prove them.

8. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections and restricted access to our databases. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

  • Text messages. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
  • Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
  • Access, correction, and deletion. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing dustin@yournarrativeedge.com. We will respond within 45 days. We may keep records we are legally required to keep, including consent and opt-out records.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law. We will honor valid requests regardless of whether a particular law technically applies to us.

10. Children

This website and our services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-party links

Our site links to other websites, including the websites of our divisions and clients. Their privacy practices are their own and this policy does not cover them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle text messaging data will not apply to consent you gave before the change without asking you again.
